Who runs this
My name is Tyson Gancayco-Adlao. I built Day Pass Coworking and I answer its email myself.
I work remotely, which is the entire reason this exists. If you have ever tried to find somewhere to work for one day in a city you do not live in, you already know the problem: most coworking sites are built to sell monthly memberships, the day rate is buried or absent, and you end up calling three places to find out who will let you in tomorrow.
So this directory leads with the thing that is usually hidden — what a single day actually costs — and admits it when the number is not published. Roughly one space in ten publishes a day rate. Listings without one say to call rather than showing an invented figure.
Where the information comes from
- The operators themselves
- Prices, hours and photographs sent in by the people who run these spaces. Their word overrides anything we scraped, and a space that confirms its own details from a company address is marked verified.
- Published rates
- Day-pass prices read from each space's own website, with the date they were checked. About one in ten spaces publishes a rate at all — the rest quote on enquiry, which is why so many listings say to call.
- Google Places
- Ratings, review counts, addresses and photographs. Ratings are never written by us.
Operators: your corrections get made
When an operator tells me something is wrong, I fix it rather than argue. One owner objected that the stock photograph on her listing promised something her space was not; she sent a real photograph of the room and it has been the hero image since. Another company sent pricing and contact details for four of its locations, and those are now the most accurate pages on the site. If your space is listed and something is off, or you would rather not be listed at all, say so and it is handled.
